Here at the seminary, student voices come to life through our three distinct publications: the Seed, the Desktop Dispatch, and the Tepeyac Hill. Each publication serves a unique purpose, providing a platform for every kind of storyteller and a wide range of topics. In a media landscape that's constantly evolving, our goal is not only to inform but to engage our community through thoughtful journalism. Whether it's through the Seed, our newsletter dedicated to celebrating the achievements and events of the seminary, the Desktop Dispatch, the go-to newsletter for all events in the seminary, or the Tepeyac Hill, our digital platform for spiritual reflections and cultural stories, we are committed to capturing the diverse perspectives and vibrant pulse of not just campus stories but also those outside.

The Seed

The Seed is more than a newsletter; it's the very foundation of student journalism within our community. Staffed exclusively by our Junior High School students, it serves as a platform dedicated to celebrating the early milestones and significant events of the entire seminary. This publication is a first step in shaping young journalists, teaching them to seek out and document stories that matter—from academic achievements and sporting triumphs to the everyday moments that define our shared life. The Seed ensures that the accomplishments of the community are not only recognized but are also permanently chronicled, fostering a strong sense of pride and collective identity among our youngest storytellers. 

The Desktop Dispatch

The Desktop Dispatch is the indispensable go-to newsletter for all campus events, offering timely and essential information to the entire seminary community. Staffed by our Senior High School students, this publication is a crucial hub of communication, providing a comprehensive and efficient overview of everything happening on campus. It sharpens the skills of our student journalists by challenging them to be accurate, clear, and prompt in their reporting. Far from a simple list of dates, The Desktop Dispatch acts as the connective tissue of our community, ensuring that everyone stays informed and engaged in the vibrant life of the seminary, from academic symposiums to social gatherings and liturgical services. 

The Tepeyac Hill

Named after the sacred site, The Tepeyac Hill is our digital-first publication and serves as the spiritual and cultural heart of our community. This online platform goes beyond news, offering a space for deep reflection, insightful essays, and powerful stories of faith. It is where seminarians, faculty, and even alumni can share their personal journeys, explore theological questions, and connect our daily lives with the broader mission of the Church. By embracing a digital format, The Tepeyac Hill extends our community's voice and vision to a wider audience, turning personal reflections into a beacon of hope and faith that reaches far beyond the physical boundaries of our campus.
